AAP Delhi Chief Saurabh Bharadwaj Slams Government Over Red Fort Blast Response, Calls Ambulance Failure ‘Inhumane and Shameful’

Under the leadership of AAP Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj, a delegation of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, including MLAs Sanjeev Jha, Imran Hussain, Kuldeep Kumar, and senior leader Adil Ahmad Khan, visited Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital today and met those injured in the tragic Red Fort blast. Deeply moved by the suffering of victims and their families, Saurabh Bharadwaj said the government’s failure to provide even basic ambulance services to the deceased was heartbreaking and inhumane. Posting sympathy on social media has no value if the government cannot even arrange a vehicle for families to take their loved ones home,” he said, questioning how the Home Minister and Chief Minister could claim “everything is fine” while victims’ families were left helpless. Saurabh Bharadwaj also asked, “What kind of ‘war’ is this where the Prime Minister flies abroad the very next morning after a terrorist attack?” Victim and aggrieved familiesAfter meeting the injured victim and aggrieved families, senior AAP leader and Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj said that whenever a major tragedy occurs, leaders in power issue formal statements expressing condolences and prayers for the bereaved families and the injured. “But these messages should not just be for Twitter, WhatsApp or Facebook. The government must mean what it says. When a family loses someone, typing out a message of condolence has no value if the government cannot even provide an ambulance to carry the deceased home,” he remarked. Saurabh Bharadwaj pointed out that Delhi’s largest hospital, the same one visited by the Union Home Minister and the Chief Minister who both claimed that ‘everything is fine’, could not arrange an ambulance for the poor families who lost their loved ones. “These were people who ran to the hospital upon receiving phone calls, without caring about their wallets, phones, or money. And when they arrived, they were told to arrange an ambulance on their own. If the government does not have ambulances for such victims, it is extremely shameful and painful,” he said. Government that can send ambulancesHe added, “This is the same government that can send ambulances even to the Taliban, yet cannot provide one to take the bodies of its own citizens home. The government should be deeply concerned about this failure.” Saurabh Bharadwaj said that AAP leaders raised this issue inside the hospital as well, requesting that at least ambulances be provided to transport the injured. “It’s not that the government lacks ambulances. There are plenty. When ministers or the Chief Minister travel, several ambulances accompany them. During the Prime Minister’s events, dozens of ambulances are deployed. So why can’t at least one ambulance be given to carry a deceased person home?” he asked. Colleagues met the injuredHe shared that he and his colleagues met the injured and spoke to doctors. “Treatment is ongoing. We pray to God for the speedy recovery of all those injured,” he said. Saurabh Bharadwaj also recalled the government’s earlier statements claiming that any terrorist attack on the nation would be treated as an ‘act of war.’ “But this is the first country where war-like conditions exist, yet the Prime Minister leaves for a foreign tour the very next morning. I think this must be the first such incident in the world.
AAP’s Saurabh Bharadwaj Accuses BJP of Planning to Privatise Delhi’s Newly Built Public Hospitals

AAP Delhi State President and former Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj has questioned the BJP government’s intent after it failed to operationalise the fully constructed 1,470-bed Shalimar Bagh hospital, warning that the administration appears to be preparing to hand over Delhi’s newly built public hospitals to private entities. Calling such a move a betrayal of the people of Delhi, the former Delhi Health Minister said the BJP must explain how citizens will receive free treatment if hospitals built with crores of public money and on public land are simply transferred to private hands. During a media interaction on Sunday, AAP Delhi State President and former Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj said, “This is not just about one hospital in Shalimar Bagh; nearly 24 hospitals were started under the Arvind Kejriwal government. Thousands of new beds were to be added to Delhi’s government hospitals. The 1,470-bed hospital in Shalimar Bagh, located right next to a private hospital, is almost complete, yet the BJP government has not started work to operationalise it.” Speaking irrelevantlyThe AAP Delhi Unit Chief said, “We have received information that the BJP government is planning to hand over these new hospitals to private hands. If you privatise a hospital built with public money, how will the people benefit? This is clearly a move to benefit private hospitals. The BJP has not given any clarification so far. Instead of giving clear answers, BJP spokespersons are speaking irrelevantly. They are saying, ‘Come to the porta cabin.’ I am ready. Let us both go and inspect together. If there is anything built inside the porta cabin, we will accept it. But these are proper hospitals with thousands of beds, how can you hand them over to private hospitals?”Responding to the BJP’s claim that the work could have been completed between 2021 and 2024, the former Delhi Health Minister said, “I agree that the hospitals were not completed within the stipulated time, but the AAP government never planned to privatise them. Whenever these hospitals are completed, they will be for the people; for free treatment, to benefit the public. But now if the BJP government wants to privatise them and hand them over to private hands, it would be a direct betrayal of the people of Delhi. How can it be justified that crores worth of public land and public funds spent by the Delhi government are simply transferred to private hospitals? This is wrong.” These government hospitals to private handsReacting to the BJP’s argument that the 2019 COVID policy involved a committee and ward plan for such hospitals, Saurabh Bharadwaj dismissed it as false. “That is completely wrong information,” he said. “For the first time, I would like the Chief Minister or Health Minister to clarify the government’s plan. A party spokesperson can say anything today and change it tomorrow, but the Chief Minister or Health Minister must state clearly whether they intend to hand over these government hospitals to private hands. If such a plan exists, they should admit it and name the hospitals.”

Addressing largely attended public rallies in Kadwa, Purnia and Barari in Bihar on the penultimate day of campaigning for the second and final phase of elections, Ms. Vadra reminded the Election Commissioners that their acts of omission and commission were being watched and that they would be held accountable even after their retirement. Ms. Vadra rued that Mr. Modi was not maintaining the grace and dignity expected of the office of the Prime Minister of India. Vadra equated Modi’s rule with BritishMs. Vadra equated Modi’s rule with British imperialism, saying he was behaving in the same way the British once treated Indians. She said the Mahagathbandhan’s fight in Bihar against the NDA was similar to the Indians’ struggle against the British Empire. The Congress general secretary held the NDA government in Bihar responsible for the sorry state of affairs in the state. She said the lack of opportunities there had forced Bihar’s youth to seek jobs in different parts of the country. Collapse of small and mediun businessesShe blamed demonetisation and the faulty implementation of GST for the collapse of small and mediun businesses, which had destroyed employment opportunities for the youth.Referring to the pre-election cash handout of Rs 10,000 to women in Bihar by the NDA government, Ms. Vadra said the BJP was trying to bribe them. AAP Files Police Complaint Against BJP-Ruled MCD for Illegal Dumping of Bhalswa Landfill Waste in Residential Areas

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has filed a written complaint at Kamla Market police station against the BJP-ruled Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), pointing to its activities of illegally dumping waste from the Bhalswa garbage mountain into residential plots. Led by AAP MCD co-incharge Praveen Kumar, co-incharge Preeti Dogra, and Councillor Rakesh Kumar, the AAP demanded an immediate halt to this unlawful activity.Praveen Kumar said the BJP’s claims of reducing the landfill are false, as the waste is merely being shifted into inhabited areas, causing severe pollution and endangering public health. The party has demanded that MCD dispose of the landfill waste strictly as per its by-laws. After filing a complaint at Kamla Market police station, AAP MCD co-incharge Praveen Kumar stated, “BJP’s claim of eliminating or reducing the Bhalswa garbage mountain is completely false. BJP leaders are making statements while the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) is carrying out this activity. The Bhalswa landfill waste is being cut and dumped into nearby residential plots where people live. This is completely illegal and violates MCD’s by-laws. It is spreading dangerous diseases in the area and causing water and soil pollution, which is extremely wrong and hazardous for the residents.” Demanding accountability from the BJP-ruled MCD, Praveen Kumar said, “On behalf of AAP, I demand that this activity be stopped immediately. The BJP leaders must apologise to the people of Delhi for their misleading statements. This illegal act will not be tolerated. Today, AAP has filed a formal complaint against it at Kamla Market police station, which details the entire issue. MCD co-incharge Preeti Dogra, Councillor Rakesh Kumar, and several AAP workers were present during this. We all demanded that this unlawful dumping be stopped immediately and that MCD follow its by-laws for proper waste disposal.” Station House Officer (SHO) at Kamla MarketIn his written complaint to the Station House Officer (SHO) at Kamla Market police station, AAP MCD co-incharge Praveen Kumar stated, “The landfill waste from Bhalswa is being illegally dumped in residential plots, which is causing water and soil contamination and exposing residents to severe health risks.” Highlighting the dangers further, he added, “In several areas, unprocessed waste is being dumped illegally and used to fill residential plots. This act is not only unlawful but also poses a grave threat to public health, the environment, and general safety.” Trouble caused by this illegal dumping 1. Air pollution and dust levels have increased, worsening public health. 2. Stagnant water has become breeding grounds for mosquitoes, raising the risk of diseases. 3. Movement of vehicles and pedestrians has been disrupted. 4. Poor-quality dumping has caused the ground to sink and blocked drainage systems. 5. Recently, in Rama Vihar, Mundka, a seven-year-old girl drowned in water that had collected in plots due to illegal garbage dumping. Citing a newspaper report published on 3 November titled “Garbage mountain to end by 2026 – Pravesh Wahi, Leader of the House”, Praveen Kumar said, “Even MCD officials have admitted that soil and waste from the Bhalswa landfill are being used merely for filling plots.” He added, “Therefore, dumping landfill waste or construction debris in any area is clearly illegal and a violation of municipal and environmental laws.” AAP demands action from the SHOIllegal dumping in residential plots should be stopped immediately. Strict legal action should be taken against those involved, including vehicles, under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and environmental laws. Coordinate with MCD to remove the dumped waste and restore cleanliness.
Delhi Congress Collects 4.37 Lakh Signatures Under “Vote Chor-Gaddi Chod” Campaign After Rahul Gandhi’s Exposé on BJP’s Alleged Vote Theft

Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav said that after Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Shri Rahul Gandhi exposed the modus operandi of BJP’s vote theft (Vote Chori) to steal the Assembly and Parliament elections by subverting people’s mandate, and the Congress started a country-wide “Vote Chor-Gaddi Chod’ campaign to collect 5-crore signatures, Delhi Congress received tremendous support from the people, as the party collected 4,37,000 signatures from 258 blocks which will be sent to the All India Congress Committee to be forwarded to the President of India/Election Commission. Addressing a press conference at the DPCC office, Rajiv Bhawan here today, along with AICC In-charge of Delhi Kazi Nizamuddin, former Delhi Minister Dr Narendra Nath, Chairman of the Communications Department Shri Anil Bhardwaj and former Chairman of the AICC SC/ST Department Shri Rajesh Lilothia, Shri Devender Yadav said that the Delhi Congress’ signature campaign received such an overwhelming response that the Congress workers and public want to keep the campaign going after Shri Rahul Gandhi’s vote theft by the BJP stunned the people, and awakened them about the nasty methods of the BJP to subvert the people’s verdict and the Constitution. Devender Yadav said that Congress workers went door-to-door to get the signatures as people from all sections of society, from common citizens, street vendors, shopkeepers, to women and youth, gave their enthusiastic support. He said that Shri Rahul Gandhi’s stunning expose of the ‘vote chori’ by the BJP in collusion with the Election Commission shocked the people as the BJP has captured all constitutional bodies through illegal methods to stay in power, including the 25 lakh vote theft in Haryana to steal the election which revealed the shocking method of using the photo of a Brazilian model, who never visited India, to cast 22 fake votes in various booths. He said that it was the responsibility of the Election Commission to filter the voter list, but it colluded with the BJP in subverting the Haryana Assembly election. Devender Yadav said that the BJP Government used coercive methods when Congress workers went for collecting signatures at Najafgarh and Babarpur Districts, with the police detaining the Congress workers, including himself, but the Congress workers could not be cowed down by the high-handed methods of the Rekha Gupta Government. Qazi Nizamuddin said that the way Shri Rahul Gandhi exposed the conspiracy of the BJP and the Election Commission to steal votes, it has awakened the people about this shocking irregularity. He said that for the last 11 years, the Aam Aadmi Party and the BJP did nothing to make the country pollution-free, and did nothing for the welfare of the people. He said that the BJP, which came to power by stealing votes, cannot be serious about the people’s problems. He said that the Congress received overwhelming support in its signature campaign in every Assembly segment to collect 4.37 lakh signatures in the Capital. Vote Chor-Gaddi Chhod has been resonatingRajesh Lilothia said that the slogan of Vote Chor-Gaddi Chhod has been resonating across the country after Shri Rahul Gandhi revealed the formation of BJP governments in different states with the help of vote theft. He said that it has been proved that the BJP was in power at the Centre and in the states by stealing the right to vote of the countrymen. He said that Dr. Ambedkar had given equal rights to all to vote and elect the government in the country to bring equality between the rich and the downtrodden, the deprived. But today the BJP is turning the electoral decisions to suit its own interest by pressurizing the Election Commission, including government agencies, through vote theft. He said that the majority class SC / ST / backward and minorities are suffering the most due to vote theft. Democracy is in danger due to vote theft and in a democratic system, if one political party in power has the right over constitutional institutions, how can democracy survive? Anil Bhardwaj said that the biggest strength of India’s democracy is the fairness of its voting process and the trust of the people. He said that if this process becomes questionable, the foundation of democracy is sure to be shaken. On November 5, our leader Rahul Gandhi ji exposed the massive vote theft in the 2024 Assembly elections in Haryana and gave evidence of the rigging of 25 lakh votes. He said that in the signature campaign against vote theft, the people have openly supported the Congress. Support received from the peopleDr. Narendra Nath said that the kind of support received from the people in the signature campaign against vote theft in all the districts and blocks of Delhi has proved that the BJP has lost the trust of the people. “Our leader Rahul Gandhi Ji has exposed that BJP formed the government in Haryana by stealing the votes with 223 votes with the same photo made with different names, 501 voters registered in the same house, as that house was only on paper. There are 1,24,177 voters with fake photographs across the state and thousands of such people whose names are on the electoral rolls of both Haryana and Uttar Pradesh voted in the Haryana Assembly elections”.
AAP’s Tokenism on Ambedkar Exposed, Delhi BJP Slams Kejriwal Govt for Failing Dalit Students and Education Reforms

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva & General Secretary Shri Yogendra Chandolia MP have said that its really pathetic to see the Aam Aadmi Party leaders every other day try to invoke the name of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in political discussions for their petty political survival. In 10 years of government in Delhi Aam Aadmi Party did nothing except renaming 31 Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidhyalaya as Dr. B.R. Ambedkar School of Excellence and rendering them worthless by affiliating them to a newly set up Delhi Board of School Education which had no credibility and some students who did Class XII from there couldn’t manage admission in any higher education university thus spoiling several careers. This led to mass quitting by students from these schools. On the other hand Arvind Kejriwal did nothing for poor students for promoting specialised education for deprived students as 70% Delhi Government schools had no facility to teach either science or commerce at senior secondary level. Aam Aadmi Party leaders should noteDelhi BJP Leaders have said that Aam Aadmi Party leaders should note that the cause of dalits upliftmemt cannot be fulfilled by just putting up Baba Saheb’s photographs but as a true tribute to Baba Saheb instead all governments need to work for providing proper education, fair job opportunities and total social integration in society for Dalit students. Sachdeva has asked the AAP leaders to tell 5 works that their Government of Delhi did for dalit community’s welfare & Dr. Ambedkar’s true promotion during there 10 years listing for them major works done by PM Shri Narendra Modi government in Memory Dr. Ambedkar like : – Panchteerth Development: Development of five important sites associated with Ambedkar’s life, including his birthplace in Mhow, the place of study in London, Deeksha Bhoomi in Nagpur, Mahaparinirvan Sthal in Delhi, and Chaitya Bhoomi in Mumbai. – Ambedkar International Centre*: Inauguration of the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in Delhi, a tribute to the Father of the Indian Constitution. – Babasaheb Ambedkar Awas Navinkaran Yojana: Financial aid to disadvantaged sections of society for housing. – Dr. Ambedkar Centres of Excellence: Launch of Dr. Ambedkar Centres of Excellence in 31 Central Universities. – Ambedkar Social Innovation and Incubation Mission: Empowerment of marginalized communities through social innovation and incubation. – Commemorative Coins: Unveiling of commemorative coins on Ambedkar’s 125th birth anniversary. – Constitutional Values: Emphasis on Ambedkar’s principles of social harmony, equality, and justice in governance. Commitment to preservingVirendra Sachdeva & Shri Yogendra Chandolia have said these initiatives reflect the government’s commitment to preserving Ambedkar’s legacy and promoting social justice and equality.
Delhi BJP Chief Virendra Sachdeva Slams AAP Leaders Over Pollution Remarks, Questions Absence of Manish Sisodia and Saurabh Bharadwaj’s “Baseless” Claims

Delhi BJP President Mr. Virendra Sachdeva said that ever since the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, including the missing-from-Delhi former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and former Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj, started making irrational statements about Delhi’s pollution situation, Delhiites have been left astonished. Mr. Sachdeva stated that although Delhi’s pollution situation is somewhat concerning, residents are well aware that the city’s air quality has improved over the past few years. The Delhi BJP President added that before questioning our BJP Chief Minister and a few ministers for visiting Bihar for election campaigning, the AAP Delhi President should clarify where they managed to bring the non-resident former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia from, just to issue a press statement today. Saurabh Bharadwaj is known for making baselessMr. Sachdeva further said that Saurabh Bharadwaj is known for making baseless and fabricated statements. But he should explain why, when Delhi’s average AQI is around 310 today, he is promoting an organization calling Delhi a gas chamber — whereas in the past three years, on November 3, 2024, 2023, and 2022, the AQI levels were recorded at 382, 468, and 450 respectively — where was his concern then? Mr. Sachdeva said that the BJP government is a responsible government, and Environment Minister is continuously working with environmental experts. The Delhi BJP President added that it is normal for Chief Ministers and ministers from different states to travel and campaign during elections. But now that Saurabh Bharadwaj has raised this issue, he should clarify — if it is wrong for Mrs. Rekha Gupta to go to Bihar during the pollution period, then what will he say about flood-affected Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Mann’s visit to Gujarat, Delhi Leader of Opposition Ms. Atishi Marlena’s long stay in Goa, and former Environment Minister Gopal Rai’s extended election stay in Gujarat ?
AAP Blames BJP’s ‘Four-Engine Government’ for Delhi’s Toxic Air, Accuses Rekha Gupta of Negligence and AQI Data Manipulation Amid Health Emergency

As Delhi’s air turns increasingly toxic, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has slammed the BJP’s four-engine government for its complete failure to control pollution. Senior AAP leaders including Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said the capital is gasping for breath while BJP ministers remain busy with election campaigns in Bihar. Saurabh Bharadwaj said residents can no longer breathe safely in the city’s poisonous air, forcing concerned groups like the Warrior Moms to write to the Health Minister as pollution becomes life-threatening for children. Bharadwaj took to ‘X’AAP Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj took to ‘X’ and wrote: “The Warrior Moms have written to the Health Minister about the alarming pollution levels. But during this health emergency, Delhi’s Health Minister has not been seen in the city for the past month, while other BJP ministers have been occupied with election campaigning in Bihar for several days.” Senior AAP leader and former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia stated on X: “Delhi is facing a full-fledged public health emergency. The truth is, it’s not Delhi’s air but the BJP’s mindset that has become toxic.” Sanjeev Jha wrote on X: “The situation is Chief Whip and senior AAP leader Sanjeev Jha wrote on X: “The situation is worsening by the day. The government itself is more poisonous than the air. The BJP Chief Minister and her ministers are busy making reels instead of taking concrete steps to reduce pollution. They are manipulating AQI data by falsifying records from monitoring stations.” AAP’s Chief Spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar took to ‘X’ and wrote: “CM Rekha Gupta ji, now that you are done campaigning in Bihar, please pay some attention to Delhi too. Do you have any plan beyond blaming former CM Arvind Kejriwal?” More poisonous than ever beforeThe AAP said Delhi’s air this year is more poisonous than ever before, and the BJP’s four engines have left no stone unturned in destroying the capital. “Pollution is at a record high, and instead of saving lives, the BJP government is busy manipulating AQI data. Where has this government gone hiding now? The visuals emerging from Delhi are terrifying. People are being forced to breathe this toxic air while the BJP government is occupied with fudging figures. It’s clear that this ‘dramebaaz government’ gave up before even trying,” the party said AAP further stated that even foreign visitors arriving in India know how bad Delhi’s air has become, but the Rekha Gupta government seems oblivious to the gravity of the situation. “What else explains the BJP’s inaction and its foolish manipulation of air quality data? To distract people from their failures, Rekha Gupta’s government staged a gimmick in the name of artificial rainfall, burning ₹34 crore of Delhi’s money. Despite such a huge expenditure on theatrics, not a single drop of rain fell, nor did pollution levels reduce,” the party said.
