Saluting the Armed Forces
Dr. Nayak began her address by paying tribute to the Indian Armed Forces, emphasizing their unmatched valor, dedication, and sacrifice. Referring to the recent Operation Sindoor, she stated it was a proud moment for the country, demonstrating India’s military resolve in the face of terrorism. “Our army is establishing new benchmarks of bravery every day. She lauded the Indian military’s decisive counterattack through Operation Sindoor, which struck multiple terrorist bases in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), including locations sheltering F-16 jets and air defense systems.

She particularly praised women officers, Colonel Sofia Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, whose leadership in Operation Sindoor sent a strong message of national pride and gender empowerment. Dr. Nayak emphasized that this operation symbolizes India’s collective resistance against religious extremism.
