Congress Slams BJP over Delay in OBC Reservation Implementation, Warns of Public Agitation
In Madhya Pradesh, the Congress party has launched a scathing attack on the BJP-led state government over the delay in implementing 27% reservation for the Other Backward Classes (OBC). Senior Congress leaders Bhupesh Baghel, Harish Chaudhary, Jitu Patwari, and Anil Jaihind jointly accused the BJP of deliberately depriving the OBC community of their constitutional rights. When the Congress returned to power in 2019 under Kamal Nath, the government issued an ordinance and passed it in the Assembly to implement the reservation. However, the BJP government shelved it after coming back to power. Jitu Patwari sharply criticized the BJP for misleading OBC students for years, with recruitment halted and competitive exams stalled, all under the pretext of pending court matters—even though the Supreme Court, on January 28, 2025, clearly ruled that 27% reservation is valid and should be enforced without delay. Anil Jaihind questioned the BJP’s intent, claiming the party neither believes in social justice nor in equality. He said the BJP’s consistent stance has been to suppress the backward, Dalit, and marginalized communities. Despite two clear observations from the Supreme Court, the government is still avoiding implementation, he added. The Congress outlined four key demands: immediate enforcement of 27% OBC reservation, prompt recruitment of pending candidates, disbursement of back wages to eligible individuals, and a public apology from Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Minister Mohan Yadav to the people of the state. Congress leaders further alleged that the BJP’s continued delay reveals its insensitivity and lack of commitment toward the OBC community. The party has declared that this fight will not stop and that it will continue to raise its voice for the rights of the backward classes across every platform. The Congress also warned the BJP that if the reservation is not implemented soon, a statewide public movement will be launched. “When the Constitution guarantees equal rights to all, why is the OBC community still being denied their due?” the leaders asked.

मध्य प्रदेश में अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग (ओबीसी) को 27% आरक्षण दिए जाने की मांग को लेकर कांग्रेस ने भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) की राज्य सरकारपर तीखा हमला बोला है। वरिष्ठ कांग्रेस नेता भूपेश बघेल, हरिश चौधरी, जीतू पटवारी और अनिल जयहिंद ने संयुक्त रूप से भाजपा सरकार परआरोप लगाया कि वह जानबूझकर ओबीसी समुदाय को उनके संवैधानिक अधिकारों से वंचित कर रही है। भूपेश बघेल ने कहा कि यह सिर्फ आरक्षणका मामला नहीं है, बल्कि यह सामाजिक न्याय, समानता और संविधान की आत्मा से जुड़ा विषय है। उन्होंने कहा कि जब सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने 27 प्रतिशतआरक्षण को वैध ठहरा दिया है, तब भी राज्य सरकार की चुप्पी यह दिखाती है कि वह ओबीसी समुदाय को उनका हक नहीं देना चाहती। हरिश चौधरी ने जानकारी दी कि वर्ष 1994 में तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री दिग्विजय सिंह ने ओबीसी को 14 प्रतिशत आरक्षण दिया था, जिसे 2003 मेंबढ़ाकर 27 प्रतिशत कर दिया गया। 2019 में जब कांग्रेस की सरकार बनी और कमलनाथ मुख्यमंत्री बने, तो उन्होंने अध्यादेश लाकर इसे लागू कियाऔर विधानसभा में इसे पारित भी किया गया, लेकिन भाजपा सरकार ने सत्ता में आते ही इस फैसले को ठंडे बस्ते में डाल दिया। जीतू पटवारी नेभाजपा पर गंभीर आरोप लगाते हुए कहा कि उसने वर्षों से ओबीसी छात्रों को धोखे में रखा है, नियुक्तियां रुकी हुई हैं, परीक्षाएं अधर में लटकी हैं औरसरकार बार-बार यह कहती रही कि मामला अदालत में है, जबकि 28 जनवरी 2025 को सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने स्पष्ट रूप से कहा था कि 27% आरक्षण पूरी तरह वैध है और इसे तुरंत लागू किया जाना चाहिए। अनिल जयहिंद ने भाजपा की मानसिकता पर सवाल उठाते हुए कहा कि भाजपा न सामाजिक न्याय में विश्वास करती है और न ही बराबरी में। उन्होंनेकहा कि यह स्पष्ट है कि भाजपा की नीति हमेशा दलितों, पिछड़ों और वंचितों को पीछे रखने की रही है। उन्होंने सवाल किया कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट की दोटिप्पणियों के बावजूद सरकार आरक्षण लागू क्यों नहीं कर रही। कांग्रेस ने चार प्रमुख माँगें रखी हैं ओबीसी वर्ग के लिए 27 प्रतिशत आरक्षण तुरंतलागू किया जाए, नियुक्ति की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे उम्मीदवारों को अविलंब नियुक्त किया जाए, सभी योग्य अभ्यर्थियों को पिछली सेवा अवधि का वेतनदिया जाए और मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान व मंत्री मोहन यादव को प्रदेश की जनता से सार्वजनिक रूप से माफी माँगनी चाहिए। कांग्रेस नेताओं ने कहा कि भाजपा सरकार की लगातार टालमटोल की नीति यह साबित करती है कि वह ओबीसी समाज के प्रति न तो संवेदनशील हैऔर न ही न्यायप्रिय। कांग्रेस ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया है कि यह लड़ाई अब रुकेगी नहीं और पार्टी हर मंच पर पिछड़े वर्ग के अधिकार की आवाज बुलंदकरती रहेगी। उन्होंने भाजपा को चेतावनी दी कि जब संविधान सबको बराबरी का अधिकार देता है, तो फिर ओबीसी समाज को उनका हक देने में देरीक्यों की जा रही है। अगर सरकार ने जल्द आरक्षण लागू नहीं किया, तो कांग्रेस राज्यभर में जन आंदोलन करेगी।

AAP’s Delhi state president, Saurabh Bharadwaj, accused the BJP of copying Arvind Kejriwal’s vision—a proposal that the BJP had previously mocked. Bharadwaj pointed out that when the AAP government initially planned to use artificial rain to tackle winter pollution in Delhi, the central government denied permission, and BJP leaders dismissed the idea as an unrealistic fantasy. However, now that BJP holds power both at the Centre and in Delhi’s municipal body, approvals for the same plan were granted without delay. Bharadwaj also questioned the timing of the initiative. On June 19, when the Indian Meteorological Department had already predicted rainfall and the sky was overcast, Delhi Mayor Rekha Gupta announced artificial rain. He argued that when natural rain was already expected, the move was unnecessary and designed solely for publicity. Now that there are no clouds or rain forecasts, the BJP has quietly shelved the project, exposing it as a political stunt. He further argued that the scientifically suitable time for artificial rain in Delhi is from October to January, when pollution levels peak and weather conditions are favorable. According to experts, June and July do not offer the necessary atmospheric conditions for such efforts. Bharadwaj accused the BJP of rushing the announcement for political gain, rather than public welfare. He also recalled that when AAP had proposed the same idea seven years ago, the BJP criticized it as corruption and a waste of taxpayer money. Now, with the BJP pursuing the same policy, Bharadwaj called it hypocrisy and questioned the party’s motives. He concluded with two pointed questions to the BJP: Why attempt artificial rain during unsuitable weather conditions, and why did they oppose the AAP’s original plan if they now believe in its merit? Bharadwaj asserted that the Aam Aadmi Party is committed to transparency and demanded honest answers from the BJP, stressing that the people of Delhi deserve sincerity, not political showmanship.
महाराष्ट्र में भाषा विवाद पर सियासी घमासान, हिंदी थोपे जाने के खिलाफ ठाकरे ब्रदर्स मैदान में, त्रिभाषा फार्मूले से शुरू हुआ विवाद
महाराष्ट्र सरकार द्वारा मराठी और अंग्रेज़ी माध्यम के स्कूलों में कक्षा 1 से 5 तक तीसरी भाषा के रूप में हिंदी को अनिवार्य करने के फैसले ने राज्य कीराजनीति को गर्मा दिया है। इस आदेश के खिलाफ कई राजनीतिक दलों ने विरोध का मोर्चा खोल दिया है, जिससे भाषा को लेकर संवेदनशीलता एकबार फिर सतह पर आ गई है। राज ठाकरे का विरोध, जनांदोलन की चेतावनीमहाराष्ट्र नवनिर्माण सेना (एमएनएस) प्रमुख राज ठाकरे इस नीति के खिलाफ खुलकर सामने आ गए हैं। शिक्षा मंत्री दादा भुसे के साथ मुलाकात केबावजूद असंतुष्ट रहे राज ठाकरे ने इस आदेश के विरोध में 5 जुलाई को गिरगांव चौपाटी से बिना किसी राजनीतिक बैनर के मार्च निकालने का एलानकिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि वे देखना चाहते हैं कि कौन इस आंदोलन में शामिल होता है और जो नहीं होंगे, उन्हें भी याद रखा जाएगा। उद्धव ठाकरे ने दिया राज ठाकरे को समर्थनशिवसेना (यूबीटी) प्रमुख उद्धव ठाकरे ने भी हिंदी अनिवार्यता के विरोध में राज ठाकरे का समर्थन कर दिया है। उन्होंने इसे “भाषाई आपातकाल” करारदेते हुए सभी मराठीभाषियों से एकजुट होने की अपील की है। उद्धव का मानना है कि कोई भी ताकत महाराष्ट्र में जबरन हिंदी नहीं थोप सकती। राज-उद्धव की सियासत को मिला मुद्दाविशेषज्ञों के मुताबिक, यह मुद्दा दोनों ठाकरे नेताओं के लिए राजनीतिक पुनर्स्थापना का जरिया बन सकता है। राज ठाकरे, जिनकी राजनीति की नींवमराठी अस्मिता पर टिकी रही है, हाल के चुनावों में अप्रभावी रहे हैं। अब उन्हें यह मुद्दा अपनी पार्टी को दोबारा उभारने का अवसर नजर आ रहा है।वहीं, उद्धव ठाकरे के लिए भी यह विषय मराठी मतों को फिर से संगठित करने का एक मौका है, खासकर तब जब विधानसभा चुनावों में उनका प्रदर्शनलोकसभा चुनावों जैसा नहीं रहा। शरद पवार ने दिया समाधान का सुझावराष्ट्रवादी कांग्रेस पार्टी (शरद पवार गुट) के प्रमुख शरद पवार ने मामले में संतुलन साधने की कोशिश की है। उन्होंने सरकार से अपील की कि हिंदी कोअनिवार्य करने की जिद छोड़ देनी चाहिए और मातृभाषा को प्राथमिकता दी जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि यदि कोई बच्चा नई भाषा सीखने के चक्कर मेंअपनी मातृभाषा से दूर हो जाए, तो यह सही नहीं होगा। सरकार ने किया आदेश में संशोधन, सियासत जारीविपक्ष के तीखे विरोध के बाद सरकार ने हिंदी को तीसरी अनिवार्य भाषा की बजाय वैकल्पिक बनाने का फैसला लिया है। हालांकि, राजनीतिकसरगर्मी अभी थमी नहीं है और यह विवाद आगामी चुनावों में भी अहम मुद्दा बन सकता है।
आज़म ख़ान की पत्नी तंजीन फातिमा का समाजवादी पार्टी से मोहभंग, अखिलेश यादव पर साधा निशाना-जेल से बाहर निकलते ही तंजीन कातीखा बयान
सीतापुर जेल में बंद अपने पति आज़म ख़ान से मुलाक़ात के बाद पूर्व राज्यसभा सांसद तंजीन फातिमा ने समाजवादी पार्टी पर नाराज़गी ज़ाहिर की।उन्होंने कहा कि अब उन्हें पार्टी से कोई उम्मीद नहीं है और वे केवल अल्लाह से उम्मीद रखती हैं। तंजीन, आज़म ख़ान के लिए उनकी पसंद केआम लेकर जेल पहुंची थीं। अखिलेश यादव ने दी प्रतिक्रियातंजीन फातिमा के बयान पर समाजवादी पार्टी के अध्यक्ष अखिलेश यादव ने प्रतिक्रिया दी और कहा कि उनके पास तीन ही रास्ते हैं सरकार बदलना, अदालत से इंसाफ पाना और ऊपर वाले पर भरोसा रखना। उन्होंने कहा कि यूपी की बीजेपी सरकार आज़म ख़ान पर अन्याय कर रही है और जब तकसरकार नहीं बदलेगी, राहत मिलना मुश्किल है। पार्टी से अलगाव का आरोप, कांग्रेस नेता को मिला मौकाआज़म ख़ान के समर्थकों का लंबे समय से आरोप रहा है कि समाजवादी पार्टी ने उन्हें अकेला छोड़ दिया है। वहीं, कांग्रेस नेता इमरान मसूद ने इस मुद्देपर निशाना साधा और कहा कि समाजवादी पार्टी में मुस्लिमों को केवल “दरी बिछाने” तक ही सीमित कर दिया गया है। मसूद ने इस परिस्थिति को”आपदा में अवसर” की तरह देखा। एसटी हसन ने किया तंजीन के आरोपों का खंडनसमाजवादी पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता और पूर्व सांसद एस.टी. हसन ने तंजीन फातिमा के आरोपों को नकारते हुए कहा कि पार्टी ने आज़म ख़ान की हर मांगऔर जिद को पूरा किया है। उन्होंने यह भी जोड़ा कि तंजीन के बयानों में तथ्य नहीं हैं और पार्टी ने कभी आज़म को नजरअंदाज नहीं किया। लंबे समय से जेल में हैं आज़म खानआजम खान पर कई आपराधिक मुकदमे चल रहे हैं, जिनमें सजा मिलने के बाद उनकी विधानसभा सदस्यता भी रद्द कर दी गई। उनकी पत्नी तंजीनऔर बेटों पर भी केस चल रहे हैं। यह मामला अब केवल कानूनी ही नहीं, राजनीतिक बहस का मुद्दा भी बन गया है।
