Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav said that it was a retrograde, dangerous move by the BJP Government in Delhi to teach the 100-year history of the RSS in Delhi schools, which would be a determined attempt for Hindutva indoctrination disguised as education to poison the impressional minds of the school children, to cover up its anti-national activities, including the murder of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi.Devender Yadav said that what kind of RSS history would be taught in schools as RSS had colluded with the British and Mohammad Ali Jinna to divide the country to create Pakistan, which had betrayed the freedom movement led by the Congress to kneel down before the British rulers to implement its narrow political agenda, which did not recognize the Indian Constitution and did not hoist the national flag at its Nagpur headquarters for over 51 years, and which was banned by Sardar Patel following Gandhi’s assassination in 1948, as the history of RSS was the history of the division and ruination of the country, to implement a singular agenda in a multi-cultural and diverse nation like India.
RSS ideology been implemented in the country
Devender Yadav said that had the RSS ideology been implemented in the country, the country would not have been able to setup great temples of leaning like the IITs (Indian Institute of Technology), IIMs (Indian Institute of Management), AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) and ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) but the Congress Government took the initiative to establish these great centres of leaning to pilot the country into the orbit of development and progress, to be one among the pantheon of great economies like the developed countries. Devender Yadav said that the Rekha Gupta Government’s move to teach RSS history will ruin the future of school children in Delhi, and also the reputation of Delhi Schools, to make them narrow minded citizens which would be destructive not only for the future of the children, but also the future of the nation, He said that poisoning the young mind in their formative years with a dangerous narrative was the most destructive strategy.
