The Republican Party of India (Athawale faction) celebrated Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Jayanti in a grand ceremony at the auditorium of Kurukshetra University. On Monday, Sonu Kundli Advocate, the State President of the Republican Party of India (Athawale faction), met with Rakesh Goyal, a young leader from the Aggarwal community. During the meeting, he extended an invitation for the upcoming Ambedkar Jayanti celebration scheduled for April 25.
He appealed to people from all religious, social, business, and employee communities to attend the event organized at the Kurukshetra University auditorium. Central Minister Ramdas Athawale also participated in this special program. In preparation for the event, State President Ravi Kundli launched a public outreach campaign to invite social representatives.

April 25 marks a significant day in Dr. Ambedkar’s life as he undertook many important initiatives. Dr. Ambedkar was a renowned social reformer, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution, and a tireless advocate for the rights of Dalits. On this date, he raised his voice against caste discrimination and inequality and demanded education and social justice for Dalits.
He had also planned a district-level seminar on April 25 aimed at uniting members of the Scheduled Castes on a common platform. Dr. Ambedkar played a crucial role in drafting the Indian Constitution, laying the foundation for a democratic and egalitarian India.
Throughout his life, he fought against evils like casteism, untouchability, and discrimination, and raised his voice for the rights of Dalits, women, and backward classes. In addition to this, he worked tirelessly to make education accessible for all and to establish social justice in Indian society.
