AAP Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj said that Patparganj today represents the complete breakdown of civic administration under the BJP in the national capital, with central residential roads overtaken by stray cattle and no action from the Delhi Government or the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). Saurabh Bharadwaj said the situation reflects what is now happening across almost every assembly constituency in the city. Sharing a video on X describing what he is seeing on the ground, senior AAP leader and Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj said, “As you enter the Patparganj Assembly constituency, the road signage reads a warm welcome and the apartment complex is right in front. The main road inside Patparganj is supposed to welcome residents, but instead the road is lined with dozens of cows sitting across the stretch. It looks as if the road has laid out a welcome, but what you actually encounter is a long line of cattle.

The AAP Delhi Unit Chief added, “There are clear and organised arrangements of cow dung, filth, water and fodder placed on the footpath. All of this has been allowed by the authorities. This is not a small patch. As far as you can see, cows are sitting on the road. This is the condition in almost every assembly constituency in Delhi.” Raising questions over the BJP administration’s failure to act, Saurabh Bharadwaj said, “Is it not the responsibility of the Delhi Government and the MCD to take these cows to gaushalas? Has any arrangement been made for them in the last eight to ten months?

He said the situation has worsened sharply since the BJP came to power, stating, “It seems that ever since the BJP government took charge, the number of stray cattle on the roads has increased several times. Wherever you look, cows that should be inside gaushalas are instead sitting scattered across the roads. Highlighting that this is happening in a central residential stretch, not a distant locality, he said, “This is the main road of Patparganj, right in front of Retreat Apartments. This is not a far off or remote area. This is the central road itself and this is the condition it is in.”
