Bharatiya Janata Party National Spokesperson Shahzad Poonawalla addressed a press conference at the BJP’s central office in New Delhi on Wednesday. During the press conference, Shri Poonaawala said that the true identity of the INDI Alliance is “Zubaan par Samvidhan, mann mein votebank aur Sharia ki dukaan.” He added that the Congress, which once sympathized with Pakistan, has now become an admirer of Bangladesh. Singing Bangladesh’s national anthem from a Congress stage in Assam is the latest proof of this. He said Congress and its leaders have long supported Bangladeshi infiltrators, endangering the nation’s unity and security. National Spokesperson stated that the opposition to a constitutional process like SIR by Congress and TMC is solely to protect their vote bank. In Bengal, TMC leaders are openly threatening the Election Commission and BJP Karyakartas. Shri Poonaawala demanded that Rahul Gandhi, the Congress, and the TMC must answer for this. Shezad Poonawalla stated that the “INDI Alliance Ki Ek Hi Pehchaan, Juban Pe Samvidhan, Par Man Mein Vote Bank Ki Dukaan Aur Iske Bahut Sare Mil Chuke Praman” (The INDI Alliance has become a symbol of hypocrisy—professing loyalty to the Constitution while pursuing vote-bank politics, with numerous instances already revealing this contradiction.) Those who once told Pakistan, “Pakistan Tu Mera Bhai Jaan, Aaj Congress Party Ban Chuki Hai Bangladesh Ki Kadardan” and evidence of this has also come to light today.
Running a vote-bank Dukan in their hearts
Those who keep the Constitution on their lips are running a vote-bank Dukan in their hearts to such an extent that now, not only with Bangladeshi illegal infiltrators or Rohingyas, but even officially, the Congress party’s endorsement of the ‘Bharat ke Tukde Tukde’ agenda stands evident before everyone.
Poonawalla stated that a recent provocative attempt to depict India’s North-East—an integral part of the nation—as belonging to another country has exposed the persistent mindset driven by the intention of dividing India. The Congress party has consistently supported Bangladeshi infiltrators over the years, with the UPA era witnessing systematic settlement of crores of illegal immigrants. From Sam Pitroda to Syeda Hameed and Ghulam Mir, statements were made in support of Bangladeshi infiltrators, on which the BJP held a press conference. And now, the Congress party has officially demonstrated its allegiance by having its senior leaders sing the Bangladeshi national anthem at a party platform in Assam.
Highlighted that Since morning
BJP National Spokesperson highlighted that Since morning, news channels have been reporting this shocking development — that during an official Congress meeting in Sribhumi, Assam, a senior Congress leader sang the Bangladeshi national anthem from the party’s official platform. They were singing the anthem of the same country that has recently made a provocative gesture aimed at separating India’s North-East, especially Assam, from the rest of the nation — an attempt to divide and fragment India into pieces. This is not the first time that the Congress has openly supported forces working against India. We have earlier seen how the Congress has maintained ties with Pakistan and its agenda — from taking no action against Pakistan after 26/11, giving it a clean chit for the 26/11 attack, showing a soft corner toward Pakistani-sponsored terrorism, and taking a lenient stand on Pakistan. Whether it was opposing the abrogation of Article 370, questioning surgical strikes, or repeatedly echoing Pakistani narratives, the pattern remains consistent.
Bangladeshi national anthem has been sung on behalf of the Congress party.
Shezad Poonawalla stated that the Congress party’s open support for Bangladeshi infiltrators, especially after Bangladesh’s provocative remarks about breaking Bharat into pieces, is not a mere coincidence — it is a deliberate strategy that has now turned into an industry, the ‘Vote-Bank industry.’ Congress leader Sam Pitroda, who refers to North-Eastern Indians as “Chinese,” in September said, “I feel at home in Pakistan and Bangladesh.” Even the Bangladeshi national anthem has been sung on behalf of the Congress party; they had sung Pakistan’s as well. Earlier, Sam Pitroda had also made statements in favor of Pakistan and Bangladesh; he had openly said, ‘So what if Bangladeshi infiltrators have come into this country. We should not object; we should make some adjustments.’ Earlier, Ghulam Mir had openly said during the Jharkhand elections, ‘Our agenda is to give gas cylinders to infiltrators.’ Poonawalla highlighted that Syeda Hameed, who is very close to the Congress party’s first family and was once in the Planning Commission, had stated that Assam is a dangerous place and that if an infiltrator from Bangladesh arrives, India should accept them because it is also their land and their world. By standing with Bangladeshi infiltrators in this way, the Congress party was aligning itself with an anti-national, Tukde-Tukde agenda. Evidence of this could be seen at the Assam Congress party office, where the Bangladesh national anthem is played openly from Sribhumi, Assam. And look at the timing, this statement came just days after Priyank Kharge insulted the youth of Assam by asking, “What talent do the youth of Assam have?” This is the same Congress party that once insulted Bhupen Hazarika Ji. This is the same Congress party whose leader Pt. Nehru said “Bye Bye Assam” during the 1962 war, dropped bombs in the Northeast, and during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, removed Assam from Rahul Gandhi’s map of India. The Congress party has repeatedly disrespected the people, youth, and identity of Assam. On one hand, it openly supports Bangladeshi infiltrators, most of whom entered during the Congress era. Today, infiltration has largely ceased except in parts of Bengal, as most of the India–Bangladesh border is now fenced. It was the Congress government that provided these infiltrators with valid IDs, proof of residence, and other resources. And now, when the NDA government follows the 3D policy – Detect, Delete, and Deport illegal infiltrators – the Congress responds with its own 3D policy – Divide, Distort, and Defend illegals. Via this sequence, the Congress party has today officially declared its stance, which is anti-India.
