Mr. Virendra Sachdeva, while extending Diwali greetings, remarked:

“For the last 8 years, the previous government misrepresented facts before the Hon’ble Supreme Court to maintain the ban on firecrackers during Diwali. This year, the BJP government advocated for celebrating with green crackers before the Supreme Court, which has now allowed it. This Diwali will reflect both cultural and environmental harmony in Delhi.” He added: “Only the Sanatan government has given Delhiites the opportunity to celebrate Diwali with firecrackers this time. The central government has also offered a big Diwali gift by giving relief in GST. With over ₹738 crore in refunds, Delhi’s traders are celebrating a ‘double Diwali’. Today, Delhi’s Chief Minister is making history by lighting over 1.5 lakh diyas at Kartavya Path.”

I thank you all
Chief Minister Mrs. Rekha Gupta said: “I thank you all. It is because of your efforts that BJP has come to power in Delhi after 27 years. The party is deeply grateful to the people of Delhi. We will strive to meet your expectations in governance.”
She further said: “Together, let’s make this Diwali green and glorious. It’s not just a festival, but a symbol of our cultural consciousness and responsibility. The Hon’ble Supreme Court’s decision has brought happiness back to homes while opening a new chapter of environmental awareness.” She appealed to the people of Delhi: “Amid the glitter of festivities, give space to the peace of nature and contribute to building a green and prosperous Delhi.”

Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi said
Dr. Alka Gurjar remarked: “This Diwali brings joy and enthusiasm because Delhi now has a progressive ‘triple-engine’ government. Visible change is happening. This is a government of the people, filled with energy, and committed to celebrating festivals with proper arrangements.” Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi said: “It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that this is the first real Diwali in Delhi after the dawn of the 21st century. Earlier, even though the festival brought light, the government’s dark policies dimmed the people’s faith. Today, Delhi has a Sanatan government that believes in preserving Indian culture while ensuring the holistic development of all.”
