Ahead of the Winter Session, Hon’ble Speaker Shri Vijender Gupta inspects Assembly readiness and digital arrangements with senior officials As the Winter Session approaches, the Assembly House reflects Delhi Vidhan Sabha’s transition to a paperless legislature New Delhi, 4 January 2026 “The Winter Session of the Delhi Legislative Assembly will reflect the principles of orderly deliberation, transparency, and responsible legislative conduct” said the Hon’ble Speaker of the Delhi Legislative Assembly Shri Vijender Gupta, while conducting a comprehensive review of preparations with senior officials of the Delhi Legislative Assembly Secretariat and Public Works Department (PWD) entrusted with the smooth functioning of the House, ahead of the Fourth (Winter) Session of the Eighth Legislative Assembly, scheduled to commence tomorrow. The Winter Session of the Eighth Legislative Assembly will be held from 5 to 8 January 2025. It will begin with the Address of the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena, at 11:00 AM on the opening day. In advance of the Session, the Hon’ble Speaker reviewed the overall preparedness of the Assembly House, including legislative, administrative, and technological arrangements, in the presence of senior officials of the Assembly Secretariat and other concerned departments. During the inspection, Shri Gupta assessed the readiness of the Assembly House , seating and desk arrangements for Members, digital infrastructure, and allied facilities essential for the smooth conduct of legislative business. Emphasising the importance of meticulous planning and inter-departmental coordination, Hon’ble Speaker underlined that all arrangements must reflect the seriousness and decorum befitting the proceedings of the House. Highlighting the continued emphasis on technology-driven legislative functioning, the Hon’ble Speaker stated that during the upcoming Session, Hon’ble Members of the Legislative Assembly will use the National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) through IPad’s installed at their respective tables in the Assembly House . Shri Gupta noted that the use of NeVA will facilitate smoother proceedings and ensure greater transparency, efficiency, and accessibility in legislative work. Shri Gupta issued necessary directions to officials of the Public Works Department (PWD) and other Assembly officers responsible for House management to complete all remaining arrangements as a priority and ensure the seamless functioning of the Session without any logistical or technical disruptions. It may be recalled that the Delhi Legislative Assembly completed its full transition to the National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) during the Monsoon Session of the Eighth Legislative Assembly. This transition marks a significant milestone in the Assembly’s journey toward paperless operations, technology enabled legislative processes, and greater transparency and accessibility for citizens.

आशीष सूद जी, हम छोटे लोग नहीं हैं, पैसे से गरीब हैं लेकिन दिल से अमीर हैं- सौरभ भारद्वाज नई दिल्ली, 04 जनवरी 2026 आम आदमी पार्टी ने रविवार को भाजपा के शिक्षा मंत्री आशीष सूद द्वारा विधायक संजीव झा और कुलदीप कुमार की गरीबी का मजाक उड़ाने वाले बयान पर “बीजेपी की छोटी सोच” कैंपेन चलाया। सोशल मीडिया पर चलाए गए कैंपेन के दौरान “आप” दिल्ली प्रदेश संयोजक सौरभ भारद्वाज, विधायक संजीव झा समेत तमाम नेताओं मंत्री आशीष सूद और भाजपा पर जमकर हमला बोला। इस कैंपेन को दिल्ली की जनता का भी जबरदस्त समर्थन मिला। सौरभ भारद्वाज ने कैंपेन की कई वीडियो सोशल मीडिया एक्स पर साझा कर मंत्री आशीष सूद से कहा कि आशीष सूद जी, हम छोटे लोग नहीं हैं। पैसे से गरीब हैं, लेकिन दिल से अमीर हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि आशीष सूद का “छोटे इलाके के बड़े-बड़े प्रवक्ता बने घूम रहे हैं” बयान भाजपा की असल मानसिकता को दर्शाता है। उधर, बुराड़ी से आम आदमी पार्टी के विधायक सानिज्व झा ने कहा कि आशीष सूद का बयान बेहद दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है। आशीष सूद जो कह रहे हैं, वह भाजपा की मानसिकता को दर्शाता है। आशीष सूद का कहना है कि छोटे-छोटे इलाकों से विधायक जीतकर या नेता आते हैं और बड़े-बड़े प्रवक्ता बन जाते हैं। संजीव झा ने कहा कि मैं बुराड़ी विधानसभा का प्रतिनिधित्व करता हं। वहां लोग गरीब जरूर हैं और कच्ची कॉलोनियों में रहते हैं, लेकिन वे छोटे नहीं हैं। संजीव झा ने सवाल किया कि हम उनसे छोटे कैसे हो सकते हैं? आशीष सूद पहली बार जीतकर आए हैं, जबकि मैं चौथी बार जीतकर आया हूं। आशीष सूद को जितने वोट मिले हैं, उतनी मेरी जीत का मार्जिन है। अगर जीत के क्रम में देखा जाए तो मैं उनसे बहुत बड़ा हूं और अगर जीत के मार्जिन को देखा जाए तो भी मैं उनसे बड़ा हूं। संजीव झा ने पूछा कि मुझे ‘छोटे लोग’ कहने की मानसिकता क्या है? क्या इसलिए कि आशीष सूद कोठी में रहते हैं तो वे बड़े लोग हो गए और कच्ची कॉलोनी में रहने वाले लोग छोटे हो गए? क्या गरीब छोटे हैं या किराए पर रहने वाले लोग छोटे हैं? उन्होंने कहा कि दिल्ली में 70 फीसद लोग कच्ची कॉलोनियों में रहते हैं। अगर आशीष सूद उन्हें छोटा मानते हैं, तो यही लोग उन्हें उनकी असली जगह दिखा देंगे। संजीव झा ने कहा कि इस तरह की बयानबाजी करके आशीष सूद पूर्वांचल के लोगों, गरीबों और कच्ची कॉलोनियों में रहने वालों का अपमान कर रहे हैं। यह कोई एक वाक्य या घटना नहीं है। उत्तराखंड सरकार में एक मंत्री के पति ने कहा कि वे बिहार से 25,000 रुपये में लड़कियां खरीदकर ले आएंगे और शादी करा लेंगे। यह इनके संस्कार हैं जो ‘बेटी बचाओ, बेटी पढ़ाओ’ की बात करते हैं। संजीव झा ने दूसरा उदाहरण देते हुए कहा कि योगी आदित्यनाथ की पुलिस ने गाजियाबाद में एक चमत्कारी मशीन लगाकर बिहार के एक निवासी को बांग्लादेशी बता दिया, जबकि वह कह रहा था कि वह अररिया का रहने वाला है। मशीन के नाम पर उसे बांग्लादेशी बताया गया। यह नजरिया और सोच भाजपा की पूर्वांचल और बिहार के लोगों के प्रति है। यह उनकी मानसिकता को दर्शाता है और समय आने पर लोग इसका जवाब देंगे। संजीव झा ने आगे एक्स पर एक वीडियो साझा करते हुए कहा कि हम कच्ची कॉलोनी में रहते हैं, लेकिन हम छोटे लोग नहीं हैं। वीडियो में एक “आप” कार्यकर्ता ने कहा कि दिल्ली सरकार में शिक्षा मंत्री आशीष सूद चुनाव जीतने और सरकार में मंत्री पद मिलने के बाद इतने ज्यादा अहंकारी हो गए हैं कि अब वे जनता को भी छोटा बता रहे हैं। उन्होंने बुराड़ी विधानसभा के विधायक संजीव झा को कहा कि वे छोटे हैं, छोटी कॉलोनी से आते हैं और छोटे इलाके से आते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि ये सब दिल्ली के छोटे-छोटे इलाकों में रहकर राषट्रीय प्रवक्ता बने घूम रहे हैं। उधर, अमन विहार वार्ड से “आप” पार्षद रविंदर भारद्वाज ने एक्स पर एक वीडियो साझा करते हुए कहा कि आशीष सूद सुन लें, हम छोटे लोग नहीं बल्कि सच्चे लोग हैं। आशीष सूद ने जो बयान दिया है कि अनधिकृत कॉलोनियों और कच्ची कॉलोनियों में रहने वाले लोग या छोटे-छोटे इलाकों से आने वाले लोग ‘छोटे’ होते हैं, यह उनकी गंदी मानसिकता को दर्शाता है। यह भाजपा की गंदी मानसिकता और गलत सोच को प्रदर्शित करता है। उन्होंने इस बयान को बेहद दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण बताते हुए आशीष सूद से कहा कि हम छोटे लोग नहीं हैं, बल्कि सच्चे लोग हैं। शालीमार बाग-ए वार्ड से “आप” पार्षद जलज चौधरी ने कहा कि आशीष सूद ने कहा है कि छोटे एरिया से आकर लोग राष्ट्रीय प्रवक्ता बनकर घूमते हैं। आशीष सूद पहली बार विधायक बने हैं, जबकि जिनके लिए वे ऐसी बात बोल रहे हैं, वे चार बार के लोकप्रिय विधायक हैं और लाखों वोटों से जीतकर आते हैं। आशीष सूद की यह छोटी मानसिकता दिखाती है कि वे गांव और कॉलोनी में रहने वाले दिल्ली के लोगों से कितनी नफरत करते हैं। आम आदमी पार्टी के आने के बाद अरविंद केजरीवाल ने गरीब, कॉलोनी और गांव में रहने वाले लोगों को पार्षद और विधायक बनाया है। इन भाजपा वालों को इसी बात का दुख है। आज भाजपा के अंदर भी उनके कार्यकर्ता, जो कॉलोनी और गांव में रहते हैं, वे टिकट मांगते हैं। इन नेताओं को इसी बात का दुख है। लेकिन अरविंद केजरीवाल ने सही कहा था कि वे इनको राजनीति करना सिखा देंगे।

The Chief Minister said that the cleanliness of the Yamuna is no longer merely a government programme, but has taken the form of a people’s movement. She added that Maa Yamuna is the eternal lifeline of our faith, culture and civilisation. The programme was organised by the Culture Youth Foundation. The Chief Minister appreciated the volunteers of the Foundation and described the active participation of citizens, youth and personnel of the Yamuna Task Force (137 CETF Battalion, Territorial Army) as inspiring. She noted that the voluntary participation of a large number of people in the Yamuna cleanliness campaign, even on a Sunday, clearly reflects growing public awareness and commitment towards the cause. The Chief Minister said that Maa Yamuna is not just a river, but a living symbol of the nation’s faith, culture and civilisation. It is unfortunate that the delay in the arrest of the accused despite the registration of the case for 6 months may endanger the safety of the victim and her family. He said that the accused who is roaming freely is a threat to other girls and the affected minor and family members are passing through mental trauma. Shri Devender Yadav said that while an atmosphere of fear is prevailing in the society due to the increase in the number of traumatic incidents of women, minor girls, rape, molestation and snatching in Delhi, the Rekha Gupta government of Delhi is neither showing any concern to improve the law and order of Delhi nor is discussing with the Union Home Ministry to intervene. Shri Devender Yadav said that we especially appeal to the conscious citizens of the entire society to consider the incident as a warning and it is the responsibility of all of us to protect the safety of children, respect of women and sanctity of religion. He said the accused priest has the patronage of BJP leaders and influential leaders are constantly pressuring the police to save the priest. He said the people of the area demand that the priest accused of raping the minor be arrested immediately.

अमेरिका ने वेनेजुएला में सैन्य कार्रवाई कर वहां के राष्ट्रपति निकोलस मादुरो को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। इस घटनाक्रम पर भारत सरकार ने बयान जारी कर चिंता जताई है। हालांकि मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स की मानें तो इस बदले घटनाक्रम से भारत को बड़ा फायदा हो सकता है। दरअसल लंबे समय से अटका भारत का करीब एक अरब डॉलर का बकाया भुगतान वापस मिल सकता है। साथ ही वेनेजुएला में भारत द्वारा तेल उत्पादन शुरू किया जा सकता है। भारत कभी वेनेजुएला में कच्चे तेल का प्रमुख उत्पादक देश था, जो एक समय वेनेजुएला से रोजाना करीब चार लाख बैरल से अधिक कच्चे तेल का आयात करता था। हालांकि वेनेजुएला पर कड़े अमेरिकी प्रतिबंधों के बाद भारत ने 2022 में लैटिन अमेरिकी देश से तेल खरीद बंद कर दी। भारत की प्रमुख विदेशी उत्पादक कंपनी, ओएनजीसी विदेश लिमिटेड (OVL), पूर्वी वेनेजुएला में सैन क्रिस्टोबल तेल क्षेत्र का संयुक्त रूप से संचालन करती है, लेकिन लेकिन अमेरिकी प्रतिबंधों के चलते महत्वपूर्ण टेक्नोलॉजी, उपकरण और सेवाओं तक पहुंच बाधित हो गई। इससे वेनेजुएला में तेल भंडारों में उत्पादन बुरी तरह प्रभावित हुआ और अब यह घटकर सिर्फ पांच हजार से लेकर 10 हजार बैरल प्रतिदिन तक घट गया है। डॉलर के बकाए की वसूली कर सकतावेनेजुएला 2014 तक इस क्षेत्र में अपनी 40 प्रतिशत हिस्सेदारी पर देय लाभांश के रूप में ओएनजीसी को 53 करोड़ अमेरिकी डॉलर का भुगतान करने में विफल रहा। बाद में भी लगभग इतनी ही राशि का भुगतान नहीं किया गया। काराकास ने ऑडिट की अनुमति नहीं दी, जिससे दावों का निपटान रुका हुआ है। अब विश्लेषक और ऊर्जा अधिकारी मान रहे हैं कि अब अमेरिका के वेनेजुएला के तेल भंडार पर कब्जे के बाद प्रतिबंधों में ढील दी जा सकती है। मामले की जानकारी रखने वाले अधिकारियों ने कहा कि एक बार प्रतिबंधों में ढील मिलने के बाद, ओएनजीसी, वेनेजुएला के सैन क्रिस्टोबल में तेल उत्पादन के लिए जरूरी उपकरण ले जा सकता है। इससे उत्पादन में तेजी आने की उम्मीद है। साथ ही ओएनजीसी, सैन क्रिस्टोबल से होने वाले ऐसे राजस्व से अपने पिछले करीब एक अरब अमेरिकी डॉलर के बकाए की वसूली कर सकता है। अमेरिका की इसमें अहम भूमिका होगीवेनेजुएला के घटनाक्रम का असर रूस पर भी पड़ सकता है। दरअसल अमेरिका की नाराजगी के बाद भारत अपने तेल खरीद में विविधता ला रहा है। अब जब वेनेजुएला के तेल भंडार पर अमेरिका का कब्जा हो गया है, तो भारत वेनेजुएला से तेल खरीद बढ़ा सकता है। इससे भारत की रूस से तेल खरीद कम हो सकती है। ओएनजीसी और दूसरी भारतीय कंपनियां वेनेज़ुएला में और भी तेल फील्ड ले सकती हैं और वहां तेल उत्पादन शुरू कर सकती हैं। कैराबोबो-1 एरिया वेनेज़ुएला का भारी तेल क्षेत्र है जिसमें भारत की दिलचस्पी है। विश्लेषकों का कहना है कि अमेरिका, वेनेजुएला की सबसे बड़ी तेल कंपनी PdVSA का पुनर्गठन हो सकता है और अमेरिका की इसमें अहम भूमिका होगी।
बीएमसी चुनाव से पहले उद्धव-राज का तीखा हमला, ‘यह लोकतंत्र नहीं, झुंडशाही है’
मुंबई महानगरपालिका (बीएमसी) चुनावों से पहले महाराष्ट्र की राजनीति में बड़ा घटनाक्रम सामने आया है। शिवसेना (यूबीटी) प्रमुख उद्धव ठाकरे और महाराष्ट्र नवनिर्माण सेना (मनसे) अध्यक्ष राज ठाकरे ने संयुक्त प्रेस वार्ता कर सत्ताधारी गठबंधन और चुनावी प्रक्रिया पर तीखा हमला बोला। इस दौरान दोनों नेताओं ने जल्द ही अपना संयुक्त चुनावी घोषणा पत्र जारी करने की घोषणा भी की। उद्धव ठाकरे ने कहा अब यह लोकतंत्र नहीं रहा, यह झुंडशाही बन चुका है। पहले वोट चोरी होती थी, अब उम्मीदवार ही चुरा लिए जा रहे हैं। अगर हम रंगे हाथों भी पकड़ लें, तब भी कोई कार्रवाई नहीं होती। उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी पर तंज कसते हुए कहा कि वे खुद को पौराणिक उपलब्धियों से जोड़ते हैं, लेकिन वर्षों पहले समुद्र में पूजा करने के बावजूद छत्रपति शिवाजी महाराज की प्रतिमा आज तक सामने नहीं आई। उद्धव ठाकरे ने चुनाव आयोग को खुली चुनौती देते हुए कहा कि सभी रिटर्निंग अधिकारियों के कॉल रिकॉर्ड सार्वजनिक किए जाएं, ताकि सच सामने आ सके। मतदाताओं से वोट का अधिकार छीना गयाउद्धव ठाकरे ने विधानसभा अध्यक्ष राहुल नार्वेकर पर बेहद गंभीर आरोप लगाते हुए कहा कि एक संवैधानिक पद पर बैठे व्यक्ति का खुलेआम उम्मीदवारों और मतदाताओं को धमकाना बेहद चौंकाने वाला है। उन्होंने कहा कि राहुल नार्वेकर को तुरंत निलंबित किया जाना चाहिए और उनके खिलाफ मामला दर्ज होना चाहिए।उद्धव ने आरोप लगाया कि विधानसभा अध्यक्ष विधानसभा के बाहर अधिकारियों को नेताओं की सुरक्षा हटाने का निर्देश नहीं दे सकते। उन्होंने कहा कि निर्विरोध उम्मीदवारों को जिताकर मतदाताओं से वोट का अधिकार छीना गया है और ऐसे सभी स्थानों पर उपचुनाव होने चाहिए। लोकतंत्र के लिए खतरनाक संकेतमनसे प्रमुख राज ठाकरे ने कहा कि भाजपा ने पश्चिम बंगाल में निर्विरोध चुने गए उम्मीदवारों के खिलाफ सुप्रीम कोर्ट का रुख किया था, लेकिन अब महाराष्ट्र में वही पार्टी इस पर चुप क्यों है। राज ठाकरे ने चेतावनी देते हुए कहा कोई भी सत्ता स्थायी नहीं होती। जो सोचते हैं कि वे कभी सत्ता से बाहर नहीं होंगे, उन्हें फिर से सोचना चाहिए। उन्होंने यह भी आरोप लगाया कि महाराष्ट्र को उत्तर प्रदेश और बिहार की राह पर ले जाया जा रहा है, जबकि महाराष्ट्र ने हमेशा देश को दिशा दिखाई है। राज ठाकरे ने कहा कि राजनीति में आने वाले लोग अब विचारधाराएं बदलने लगे हैं, जो लोकतंत्र के लिए खतरनाक संकेत है।
