Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva said it is unfortunate that even after nearly a year, leaders like Aam Aadmi Party’s Saurabh Bhardwaj have not been able to accept their defeat in the Delhi Assembly elections. In frustration, they continue to indulge in baseless allegations and counter-allegations against the BJP government in Delhi. The Delhi BJP President said that during its ten-year tenure, the Arvind Kejriwal government not only failed to take steps to control pollution in Delhi, but also destroyed the greenery already present along roadsides and central verges, and left behind broken roads. When vehicles move over the potholes and damaged edges of these roads, they create storms of dust and grime. December would have remained above 500Virendra Sachdeva said that in the last 8–9 months, the BJP government in Delhi has reconstructed nearly 200 square kilometres of roads and filled about 50,000 potholes, resulting in a reduction in dust pollution. The Delhi BJP President said that the Kejriwal government crippled the public transport system in Delhi, especially the bus service, which led to an excessive increase in private vehicles on the roads and, consequently, a sharp rise in pollution from vehicular emissions. Virendra Sachdeva said that today the people of Delhi are realising that controlled pollution is the result of roads repaired by the new BJP government and the introduction of more than 1,000 electric buses. If the Kejriwal government were still in power, the AQI level throughout December would have remained above 500.
Devender Yadav Urges Delhi’s Urban Poor to Join Fight for Employment Guarantee Scheme
Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Shri Devender Yadav has written an open letter to the urban poor brothers and sisters of Delhi to join the struggle for the implementation of the Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme in Delhi due to record unemployment in the Capital so that the poor of Delhi can get employment for fixed days and they can live their life with dignity, equality and social stability without being dependent on anyone. Devender Yadav said that while the Central Government was abolishing the Right to Employment Act like MNREGA, which had given legal right to employment to crores of poor villagers of India through MNREGA. He said efforts are being made to abolish MNREGA while in the new Act, the government should have included the urban poor as the rural are migrating to the cities due to financial constraints, unemployment and hunger. He said that Urban workers are completely deprived of this. Standard of living of the urban poor improvesDevender Yadav said in the letter that Delhi has been the capital of the country and a symbol of opportunities for development, but for the last 10 years, lakhs of people in Delhi have been forced to live in conditions of instability due to uncertainty of employment, inflation and unsafe working conditions. He said that After the mass exodus of villagers, urban employment guarantee for the urban poor is a viable solution to ensure equality and livelihood for all in the Capital. He said that because of rapid urbanization, rising cost of living, additional burden on construction workers due to contract system, economic pressure on daily wage workers, workers in unorganized sector, women, youth, street vendors and families living in jhuggi jhopri, JJ clusters and industries and factories due to pollution, the livelihood of urban poor is being snatched away. Devender Yadav said in the letter that urban employment guarantee means that the government should take the responsibility of providing work and the local people should get work for a fixed number of days in a year, as the wages should be paid directly to the bank account on time and unemployment allowance should be given in case of no work. He said that this is not a new or impractical concept, as it is already in place in many States. He said that the Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme is applicable in the States of Rajasthan under the Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme, Kerala under the Ayyankali Scheme and in Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. With the implementation of such schemes, while the participation of women increases, unemployment and poverty in cities decreases, cities become cleaner, greener and safer, demand in the local market increases and the standard of living of the urban poor improves. Solidarity with the country and the villagerDevender Yadav said in the letter that while in India, the villagers got the right to employment through MNREGA, urban India, especially Delhi, is still deprived of such a right, which is a complete injustice. The urban employment guarantee is not a “freebie” but a fulfilment of the spirit of the Constitution. Article 21 gives the right to a dignified life and livelihood, the Directive Principles of Policy entrust the government with the responsibility of providing employment opportunities. The 74th Constitutional Amendment makes it the duty of local bodies to eradicate urban poverty. While most of the rural land is being acquired in the name of development, lakhs of urban poor living in over 1,700 unauthorised colonies and resettlement colonies need employment to earn a living. Devender Yadav said that Urban Employment Guarantee is not a charity but a right of the people of Delhi. The Congress party and our leader Shri Rahul Gandhi are fighting the battle for the right to employment from the streets to Parliament. He said that this struggle will be successful with the cooperation of the public, the urban poor and ordinary citizens should raise their voice in solidarity with the country and the villagers. Countrywide labour struggleLet all the citizens of Delhi be a part of our struggle. He said that in Delhi, we are struggling to implement the Urban Employment Guarantee Act, which provides for at least 150 days of work per year, unemployment allowance for 15 days if there is no work, wages of Rs.500 for unskilled work and Rs.700 per day for skilled/ semi-skilled work, and employment to one or more family members on the basis of any government identity card for residents aged 18-60. Devender Yadav said that He was confident that the urban poor of Delhi will establish a just, inclusive, social security, equality environment in Delhi by implementing, with your support and unity for Urban Employment Guarantee. He said that the Delhi people support is important to make the voice of the urban poor a part of the national employment discourse and to connect Delhi strongly with the countrywide labour struggle.

कर्नाटक में मुख्यमंत्री बदलाव की अटकलें तेज, डीके शिवकुमार ने मुलाकात पर स्पष्ट किया: चर्चा केवल मनरेगा मुद्दे पर
कर्नाटक की राजनीति में एक बार फिर हलचल बढ़ गई है। उपमुख्यमंत्री डीके शिवकुमार की कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे से बंगलूरू स्थितआवास पर मुलाकात के बाद मुख्यमंत्री पद को लेकर चर्चाएं तेज हो गईं। यह मुलाकात ऐसे समय हुई है, जब कांग्रेस सरकार अपने कार्यकाल केआधे रास्ते पर पहुंच चुकी है। मुलाकात के बाद शिवकुमार ने साफ किया कि उन्होंने कोई राजनीतिक मुद्दा नहीं उठाया। उनके मुताबिक, चर्चा केंद्रसरकार द्वारा मनरेगा की जगह नए कानून लाने और उस पर पार्टी के रुख को लेकर थी। उन्होंने कहा कि वह और मुख्यमंत्री सिद्धारमैया हाईकमान केफैसले का सम्मान करते हैं और उसी के अनुसार काम करेंगे। कर्नाटक उपमुख्यमंत्री डीके शिवकुमार की कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे से मुलाकातके बाद मुख्यमंत्री बदलाव की अटकलें तेज हो गई हैं। शिवकुमार ने साफ किया कि चर्चा केवल मनरेगा से जुड़े मुद्दों पर थी। उन्होंने कहा कि वह औरमुख्यमंत्री सिद्धारमैया हाईकमान के फैसले का पालन करेंगे। वर्किंग कमेटी की बैठक में इस मुद्दे पर रणनीति तय की जाएकांग्रेस में नेतृत्व परिवर्तन की अटकलें तब और तेज हुईं, जब सरकार ने पांच साल के कार्यकाल का आधा समय पूरा किया। हालांकि, खरगे पहले हीकह चुके हैं कि नेतृत्व को लेकर भ्रम केवल स्थानीय स्तर पर है, हाईकमान में नहीं। शिवकुमार ने इसे वरिष्ठ नेता की सलाह बताते हुए कहा कि पार्टी केअंदरूनी मामलों का समाधान संगठन के भीतर ही होगा। शिवकुमार ने खुद को आजीवन पार्टी कार्यकर्ता बताते हुए कहा कि उन्होंने कांग्रेस के लिए हरस्तर पर काम किया है। पोस्ट या पद उनके लिए प्राथमिक नहीं है। जब उनसे मेहनत का इनाम मिलने पर सवाल पूछा गया, तो उन्होंने इस पर टिप्पणीकरने से इनकार कर दिया। शिवकुमार ने केंद्र की नई योजना पर कड़ा रुख अपनाते हुए कहा कि यह गरीबों, मजदूरों और किसानों के खिलाफ है।उन्होंने संकेत दिए कि राज्य कांग्रेस मनरेगा की बहाली के लिए बड़ा आंदोलन करेगी। 27 दिसंबर को होने वाली कांग्रेस वर्किंग कमेटी की बैठक में इसमुद्दे पर रणनीति तय की जाएगी।
दिल्ली में निजी स्कूलों के लिए फीस समिति बनाना हुआ अनिवार्य, मनमानी बढ़ोतरी पर लगाम
दिल्ली सरकार ने निजी स्कूलों में मनमानी फीस बढ़ोतरी पर लगाम लगाने के लिए सख्त कदम उठाते हुए निजी स्कूलों के लिए स्कूल स्तर व जिलास्तरपर शुल्क निर्धारण समिति बनाना अनिवार्य किया है। सरकार ने इसके लिए आदेश जारी किए हैं। सभी निजी स्कूलों को इस आदेश के 15 दिन केभीतर (10 जनवरी 2026) तक 11 सदस्यीय कमेटी का गठन करना होगा। सरकार के इस कदम से कोई भी निजी स्कूल मनमाने तरीके से फीस कोनहीं बढ़ा सकेगा। सरकार ने स्पष्ट किया है कि इस आदेश का पालन नहीं करने पर स्कूल शिक्षा फीस निर्धारण और नियंत्रण अधिनियम के तहतकार्रवाई की जाएगी। दिल्ली के शिक्षा मंत्री आशीष सूद ने ने कहा कि दिल्ली स्कूल एजुकेशन ट्रांसपेरेंसी इन फिक्सेशन एंड रेगुलेशन ऑफ फीस एक्ट2025 और इसके अंतर्गत बनाए गए नियमों को शैक्षणिक सत्र 2025-26 से प्रभावी रूप से लागू किया जा रहा है। इस कानून के सफल क्रियान्वयनके लिए स्कूल स्तर और जिला स्तर पर दो महत्वपूर्ण समितियों, स्कूल लेवल फीस रेगुलेशन कमेटी और डिस्ट्रिक्ट लेवल फीस अपीलेट कमेटी कागठन अनिवार्य किया गया है। सरकार ने यह कदम अभिभावकों को राहत देने और मनमानी फीस बढ़ोतरी को रोकने के लिए उठाया है। गठन से फीस निर्धारण का स्थायी समाधान निकलेगाइस संबंध में शिक्षा निदेशक वेदिथा रेड्डी की ओर से एक आदेश भी जारी किया है जो कि तत्काल प्रभाव से लागू होगा। इसके अनुसार स्कूलों कोअनिवार्य रूप से 10 जनवरी 2026 तक इस समिति का गठन करना है। आदेश के अनुसार इस 11 सदस्यीय समिति में अभिभावकों के प्रतिनिधि केतौर पर पांच सदस्य होंगे। इसके साथ ही स्कूल प्रबंधन अध्यक्ष, स्कूल प्रधानाचार्य, तीन शिक्षक, तथा शिक्षा निदेशालय के प्रतिनिधि शामिल होंगे।समिति का गठन लॉटरी प्रक्रिया के माध्यम से किया जाएगा, जिसमें पारदर्शिता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए पर्यवेक्षक की नियुक्ति भी की गई है। स्कूलोंको कमेटी के अध्यक्ष व सदस्यों के नाम स्कूल वेबसाइट व नोटिस बोर्ड पर प्रदर्शित करने होंगे। शिक्षा मंत्री ने कहा कि दिल्ली में लगभग 37.38 लाखबच्चे शिक्षा ग्रहण कर रहे हैं। हमारे लिए प्रत्येक बच्चा महत्वपूर्ण है, ना हम स्कूलों के खिलाफ हैं और ना ही शिक्षकों के। हमारा मकसद संतुलित, पारदर्शी और भरोसेमंद प्रणाली विकसित करना है। उन्होंने कहा कि इन समितियों के गठन से फीस निर्धारण का स्थायी समाधान निकलेगा। निपटारे और अपीलों पर निर्णय का अधिकार दिया गयायदि कोई स्कूल फीस बढ़ाना चाहता है तो उसे ठोस कारण के साथ अपना प्रस्ताव समिति के समक्ष रखना होगा। प्रस्ताव पर चर्चा के बाद कमेटीअपनी सिफारिश देगी और जिसके बाद उस पर निर्णय किया जाएगा। पहले स्कूलों को फीस का प्रस्ताव एक अप्रैल तक देने की व्यवस्था थी। लेकिनअब नए कानून के अनुसार फीस बढ़ाने के लिए प्रस्ताव 25 जनवरी 2026 तक ही प्रस्तुत करना होगा। यदि समिति निर्धारित समय.सीमा में निर्णयनहीं लेती है तो मामला स्वत: जिला स्तर की अपीलीय समिति के पास चला जाएगा। उन्होंने बताया कि जिला स्तर की कमेटी को फीस से संबंधितविवादों के निपटारे और अपीलों पर निर्णय का अधिकार दिया गया है। शिक्षा मंत्री ने कहा कि यह व्यवस्था इसलिए बनाई गई है ताकि किसी भी स्तरपर मनमानी की गुंजाइश न रहे और हर निर्णय नियमों के दायरे में हो।
