AAP to Hold Massive Kisan Mahapanchayat in Gujarat on Sardar Patel’s 150th Birth Anniversary to Support Agitating Farmers says Gopal Rai
In a major solidarity with Gujarat’s agitating farmers, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal will hold a massive Mahapanchayat on October 31 — the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel — to protest the BJP government’s crackdown on farmers. The Mahapanchayat, to be held in the Limdi Assembly constituency of Surendranagar district, will also see the participation of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. During their visit, AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann will meet families of farmers imprisoned for protesting against the Karda system and chart the future course of the farmers’ movement, senior AAP leader and Gujarat Prabhari Gopal Rai announced at a press conference in Delhi on Sunday. BJP government in Gujarat has unleashedIn a press conference, senior AAP leader and Gujarat Prabhari Gopal Rai said that instead of accepting the farmers’ just demands against the exploitative Karda Pratha (Karda system), the BJP government in Gujarat has unleashed brutal repression against them — lathi-charging peaceful protestors, filing false cases, and throwing them in jail. “The BJP thinks it can deceive the people of Gujarat by reshuffling its cabinet, but that will not work,” he said, adding that farmers have resolved to continue their agitation until the Karda Pratha is abolished and a legal guarantee for MSP-based procurement is implemented. The AAP Gujarat Prabhari explained that under the Karda Pratha, exploitation of farmers continues unabated in Gujarat’s agricultural markets. Since October 10, farmers across the state have been agitating against this oppressive system. However, instead of addressing their demands, the BJP government has resorted to lathis, tear gas, fabricated FIRs, and imprisonment to suppress their voices. “By changing and expanding its cabinet, the BJP is attempting to mislead the people, but that will not succeed,” he said. Placed under house arrestAnnouncing the next phase of the movement, Gopal Rai stated, “On October 31, the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, AAP Gujarat will organise a Kisan Mahapanchayat in Sudamda village, Limdi constituency, Surendranagar district. Representatives from 400 agricultural Mandia across Gujarat will participate. AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann will address the gathering and decide the future strategy of the movement.”Recounting the sequence of events, Gopal Rai said that on October 10, farmers at the Botad district market demanded the abolition of Karda Pratha, but the market administration refused to listen. Farmers, along with AAP Kisan leader Rajubhai Karpada, were peacefully sitting on a dharna when they were arrested at 3 a.m. The market was forcibly closed. On October 12, when farmers announced a Kisan Mahapanchayat in Botad, the area was turned into a cantonment zone. AAP Gujarat President Isudan Gadhvi, Youth Wing President Brijraj Solanki, Women’s Wing President Reshma Patel, and General Secretary Sagar Rabari, among others, were arrested or placed under house arrest. Governor through District Magistrates across all districts“When the Mahapanchayat could not be held at the market, farmers assembled around 6 p.m. in Hadad village, 3–4 km away from Botad. But on the orders of Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi, the village was surrounded. Stones were pelted from behind, lathis were used, tear gas shells were fired, doors were broken, women and elders were humiliated, and 69 people were thrown in jail. These individuals are still imprisoned and spent their Diwali behind bars,” Gopal Rai said.He added that on October 13, a Black Day was observed across Gujarat to protest the government’s atrocities. On October 15, AAP sent a team of lawyers led by MLAs Hemant Khava, Sagar Rabari, and Raju Solanki to meet the families of the arrested farmers and take responsibility for their legal defence. On October 16, Rajubhai Karpada and Praveen Ram announced an indefinite hunger strike at the AAP office in Ahmedabad, but they were arrested and jailed before reaching there. That same day, Sumit Pawar, Chairman of the Taluka Panchayat Business Committee, resigned in protest against the repression. On October 17, protest letters were sent to the Governor through District Magistrates across all districts. On October 20, families across Gujarat lit lamps in solidarity with the 69 jailed farmers.Gopal Rai said that during the October 31 Kisan Mahapanchayat, Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann will meet the families of the imprisoned farmers and formulate the next phase of the movement. “Today, Gujarat stands divided into two camps: one represented by the BJP, which is crushing farmers’ voices, and the other by AAP, which is fighting for their rights,” he said.He further pointed out that in July, both cattle rearers at Sabarkantha’s Sabar Dairy and farmers at Hadad faced brutal lathi charges, tear gas, and fabricated cases. “The very Home Minister, Harsh Sanghvi, who oversaw this repression, has now been rewarded by the BJP with the post of Deputy Chief Minister,” Rai remarked.
दिल्ली AAP अध्यक्ष सौरभ भारद्वाज ने BJP पर लगाया आरोप, बिहार चुनाव से पहले जनता को भ्रमित करने के लिए बनाए गए नकली यमुना घाट और फिल्टर्ड पानी का किया गया इस्तेमाल
पार्टी मुख्यालय में हुई एक प्रेस वार्ता को संबोधित करते हुए आम आदमी पार्टी के दिल्ली प्रदेश अध्यक्ष सौरभ भारद्वाज ने कहा, कि भारतीय जनतापार्टी अपने एक झूठ को छिपाने के लिए लगातार झूठ पर झूठ बोलती चली जा रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि भारतीय जनता पार्टी ने अपनी ही दिल्लीसरकार को शाबाशी का प्रमाण पत्र देने के चक्कर में दिल्ली और देश की जनता से यह झूठ बोला, कि हमने यमुना को साफ कर दिया है, जबकिअरविंद केजरीवाल जी की सरकार 10 साल में भी यमुना को साफ नहीं कर पाई। उन्होंने कहा न तो अरविंद केजरीवाल जी ने, न आम आदमी पार्टी केकिसी भी नेता ने भाजपा के नेताओं से या भाजपा की दिल्ली सरकार से कभी भी यमुना की सफाई को लेकर कोई प्रमाण पत्र मांगा। उन्होंने कहा किकेवल और केवल बिहार चुनाव के चलते भाजपा को अपनी दिल्ली सरकार को शाबाशी देने के लिए यह प्रमाण पत्र देना पड़ा और अब इस झूठ कोछिपाने के लिए भाजपा को सैकड़ो झूठ बोलने पड़ रहे हैं। उदाहरण देते हुए सौरभ भारद्वाज ने कहा, कि आम आदमी पार्टी की जब दिल्ली में सरकारथी तो यमुना में बनने वाले झाग को साफ करने के लिए जिस केमिकल का छिड़काव पानी में किया जाता था, जो कि हानिकारक नहीं होता है, परंतुकेवल और केवल जनता के बीच ड्रामा करने के लिए भाजपा के प्रवेश वर्मा जी यमुना घाट पर पहुंचकर अधिकारियों के साथ गाली गलौज करते थे, बदतमीजी करते थे और उस केमिकल को जहर बताते थे। आज वही प्रवेश वर्मा जी बतौर जल मंत्री वही केमिकल झाग खत्म करने के लिए जमुना मेंछिड़काव करवा रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि भाजपा की दिल्ली सरकार ने कर्मचारियों की ड्यूटी लगाई हुई है कि सुबह 9:00 बजे से यमुना में झाग खत्मकरने के लिए केमिकल का छिड़काव करना है। उन्होंने कहा कि भाजपा का झूठ का भांडा फोड़ करने के लिए हमने सुबह 7:00 बजे जाकर यमुना काझाग वाला वीडियो जनता के सामने सार्वजनिक किया और भाजपा का झूठ बेनकाब हो गया। अपने इस झूठ को छुपाने के लिए भाजपा ने उन गरीबमजलूम कर्मचारी की ड्यूटी का समय सुबह 9:00 बजे से बदलकर अब सुबह 5:00 बजे कर दिया. अगले दिन फिर झाग पैदा हो जातेवह गरीब मजदूर सुबह ठंड में 5:00 बजे यमुना में जाकर केमिकल का छिड़काव करते हैं और झाग को खत्म करने का काम करते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कीप्रतिदिन केमिकल का छिड़काव करने के बाद अगले दिन फिर झाग पैदा हो जाते हैं और भाजपा का झूठ फिर जनता के सामने उजागर हो जाता है।इसीलिए जनता को बेवकूफ बनाने के लिए और घाट पर छठ के लिए पूजा करने आने वाले बिहार और पूर्वांचल के श्रद्धालुओं को बेवकूफ बनाने केलिए भारतीय जनता पार्टी ने हरियाणा के हथिनी कुंड बैराज से ईस्टर्न कैनल के द्वारा उत्तर प्रदेश के किसानों को मिलने वाला सारा पानी रोक कर यमुनामें छोड़ दिया है। ताकि अधिक पानी आ जान के कारण जो यमुना में प्रदूषण की मात्रा है, वह अधिक पानी में घुलकर कम लगने लगे। परंतु यमुना केप्रदूषण में किसी प्रकार की कोई कमी भारतीय जनता पार्टी ने नहीं की है। केवल और केवल अपने झूठ को छिपाने के लिए नए-नए हथकंडे भाजपाकी दिल्ली सरकार अपना रही है। भाजपा शासित दिल्ली सरकार के झूठ को बेनकाब करने के लिए एक और तर्क पत्रकार बंधुओ के समक्ष प्रस्तुतकरते हुए सौरभ भारद्वाज ने कहा कि भारतीय जनता पार्टी के अलग-अलग नेता यमुना पर जाकर दिखावा कर रहे हैं और जिस प्रकार से छठवर्ती अर्घ्यके रूप में पानी को चुल्लू में भरकर पीते हैं, उस तरह से पीने का ड्रामा कर रहे हैं, जबकि वह पानी साफ तौर पर उनकी कोहनी से गिरते हुए नजर आरहा है और वह उस पानी को नहीं पी रहे हैं। इस झूठ का पर्दाफाश करने के लिए मैंने यमुना का पानी मीडिया बंधुओं की मौजूदगी में एक बोतल मेंभरा और हम उस पानी को मीडिया की मौजूदगी में दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता जी के घर लेकर गए, कि यदि भाजपा ने इस पानी को स्वच्छ करदिया है और यमुना साफ हो गई है तो मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता जी या बीजेपी का कोई भी मंत्री या नेता मीडिया के सामने इस पानी को पीकर दिखाए।परंतु ना तो मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता जी और ना ही भाजपा का कोई भी नेता हमसे मिलने आया और ना ही किसी ने यमुना का वह गंदा और दूषित पानीपीकर दिखाया। मल युक्त जल से भरी यमुना पर घाट बनाए गएभारतीय जनता पार्टी की दिल्ली सरकार द्वारा किए जाने वाले एक और फ्रॉड का भंडाफोड़ करते हुए सौरभ भारद्वाज ने कहा, कि भाजपा जल्द ही एकऔर नया ड्रामा दिल्ली और देश की जनता के सामने लाने वाली है। जिसमें भाजपा ने देश के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी को भी शामिल किया है।पत्रकारों के समक्ष वीडियो प्रस्तुत करते हुए सौरभ भारद्वाज ने बताया, कि दिल्ली आईएसबीटी के समीप बने वासुदेव घाट पर भारतीय जनता पार्टी नेयमुना नदी के किनारे किनारे पर एक और कृत्रिम नदी का निर्माण किया है। एक छोटी सी नदी जिसमें वजीराबाद वॉटर ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट से दिल्ली केलोगों को पीने के लिए सप्लाई किए जाने वाली पानी की पाइपलाइन के जरिए चोरी छुपे फिल्टर वाटर भरा गया और देश के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी जीउस फिल्टर वाटर वाली यमुना में डुबकी लगाकर दिल्ली और देश की जनता और बिहार-पूर्वांचल की जनता को बेवकूफ बनाएंगे और यह दिखाएंगे किभाजपा ने यमुना साफ कर दी है। एक बड़ा प्रश्न उठाते हुए सौरभ भारद्वाज ने कहा, कि क्या आपने कभी सुना है की मौसम बदलने पर प्रधानमंत्री जीको फ्लू हो गया, कोरोना काल में क्या आपने सुना था के प्रधानमंत्री को कोरोना हुआ? गंदा पानी पीने की वजह से अक्सर दिल्ली में खबरें सुनने कोमिलती हैं कि लोग बीमार हो गए, टाइफाइड हो गया, क्या आपने कभी सुना के प्रधानमंत्री को टाइफाइड हो गया? उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री जी कोअपनी सेहत की सदैव चिंता रहती है। यही कारण है कि फिल्टर वाटर वाली नकली नदी बनाकर प्रधानमंत्री जी उसमें डुबकी लगाने आ रहे हैं और गरीबपूर्वांचलियों के लिए दूषित और मल युक्त जल से भरी यमुना पर घाट बनाए गए हैं। दूषित पानी पीने से मृत्यु ही क्यों ना हो जाएउन्होंने कहा, कि भाजपा को कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता कि पूर्वांचली लोग इस जल में डुबकी लगाकर बीमार पड़ जाए, उनकी मृत्यु हो जाए, उनके बच्चोंकी मृत्यु हो जाए, परंतु प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी को अपने स्वास्थ्य की पूरी चिंता है। एक अनुमान लगाते हुए सौरभ भारद्वाज ने कहा, कि ऐसी सूचनाहैं, कि इस कार्यक्रम में मीडिया को भी शायद अंदर आने की अनुमति न दी जाए। केवल सरकारी चैनल के कैमरे ही अंदर होंगे और जो तस्वीर वहचाहेंगे वही तस्वीर बाकी मीडिया के साथ साझा करेंगे, ताकि भाजपा की इस नकली फिल्टर वाटर वाली नदी का सच देश की जनता के सामने न आसके। सौरभ भारद्वाज ने कहा, कि आप सोच कर देखिए कि जो लोग छठी मैया को धोखा दे सकते हैं, जो लोग सूर्य भगवान को धोखा दे सकते हैं, वहलोग किसी के सगे नहीं हो सकते। उन्होंने कहा कि यह सब ड्रामा केवल और केवल बिहार की जनता को बेवकूफ बनाकर आने वाले बिहार के चुनावमें वोट हासिल करने के लिए किया जा रहा है। सौरभ भारद्वाज ने इस संबंध में एक और बड़ी जानकारी पत्रकारों के साथ साझा करते हुए बताया, किदिल्ली सरकार के पॉल्यूशन कंट्रोल बोर्ड के ही आंकड़े हैं, कि यमुना का पानी इतना प्रदूषित है, कि पीना तो दूर यदि कोई उसमे नाहा लेगा तो उसेभयंकर बीमारियां हो सकती हैं। इन सब के बावजूद भी भारतीय जनता पार्टी केवल और केवल बिहार में वोट हासिल करने के लिए, सत्ता हथियाने केलिए पूर्वांचलियों की जान दाव पर लगाने के लिए तैयार है। सभी इस बात को भली भांति जानते हैं, कि छठव्रती दो दो घंटे, तीन-तीन घंटे यमुना मेंखड़े होते हैं, पूजा अर्चना करते हैं, अर्घ्य देते हैं और अपना छठ व्रत पूरा करते हैं। यमुना का पानी इतना प्रदूषित है उसके बावजूद भी भारतीय जनतापार्टी ने इतना बड़ा षड्यंत्र रचा, कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के लिए यमुना के किनारे, फिल्टर वाटर वाली एक नकली कृत्रिम यमुना का निर्माण कियागया ताकि पूर्वांचलों को, बिहार के लोगों को और छठवृतियों को बेवकूफ बनाया जाए और बिहार में उनका वोट हासिल किया जा सके, चाहे दिल्लीमें पूर्वांचलों की, छठवृतियों की यमुना में स्नान करने से, वह दूषित पानी पीने से मृत्यु ही क्यों ना हो जाए।

He further stated that while opposition parties across the country have often raised concerns about a lack of development or about unclean religious sites, Saurabh Bhardwaj’s act of objecting to the cleaning of the Yamuna through a live video was the first-ever instance of an opposition party protesting against the government’s effort to ensure cleanliness and sanitation. AAP leadership is in panicThe Delhi BJP President added that the Kejriwal government held political prejudice against the Bihari community, and as a result, Kejriwal imposed a ban on Chhath Puja on the Yamuna banks from 2018 to 2024 — without any written judicial or administrative order. Now, when Mrs. Rekha Gupta’s government, in just eight months, has completed the basic cleaning of the Yamuna and made natural ghats available for devotees, the AAP leadership is in panic.
